What to expect from All-on-X dental implants

The procedure for All-on-X implants starts with a consultation with Dr. Nguyen to establish your eligibility for implants. Generally, you should be in good oral and overall health, and your jawbone should have sufficient density to support an implant.

If you are a prime candidate for dental implants, the doctor will surgically insert four or six titanium posts in the jawbone. Then, above the implant fixtures, we place abutments that link the implant to the tooth prosthetic. Before you leave, we’ll attach a semi-permanent restoration over the implants to restore your smile.

Over the next few months, your implants will heal and fuse with the jawbone to form one biological structure. After this period, you’ll return to our office to replace the semi-permanent restoration with a permanent one. Now, with your fully restored smile, you can smile, laugh, and talk without worrying about your teeth.
